Didn't you do a great job of keeping the ball away from Van Persie, all 3 of our goals were from his shots. If supposed champions elect can't do it what makes you think other sides will be able to?

Of course they will challenge, they’ve got much of the same squad of last year, added a proven PL world class goal scorer. They may not have the strongest squad on paper but they have seasoned campaigners who know how to win and that becomes a habit, especially with a manager like Fergie at the helm.


I’m pretty sure we’d have beaten them well had we kept 11 players on the pitch but they showed what they can do going forward breaking with pace and with clinical finishing at the start of the game where Chelsea hadn’t woken up.

They will leak goals this season but they will play like they usually do and always try and score more, which ultimately wins games.

I don’t think they’ll win the league this season but they will challenge for sure. Can’t see them finishing outside the top 3.
