From irish Times:
Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni has named an extended 26-man squad for the upcoming friendly against Greece, with Norwich City winger Wes Hoolahan receiving a call-up to the senior squad.

Hoolahan is joined in the squad by Everton centre back Shane Duffy and Crystal Palace’s Damien Delaney, while midfielders Conor Clifford of Chelsea and Sunderland’s David Meyler are also included for the game at the Aviva Stadium on November 14th.
Robbie Keane has been rested for the game, while Shane Long, Richard Dunne and Sean St Ledger all miss out through injury.
The squad will be shortened to 23 players before they meet up on November 11th

Trapattoni watches player and then selects him!
I think it's time to go ice-skating as hell has definitely frozen over.

Wait up the squad will be shortened by 3 players come the time of the match!!
He might yet come up with an excuse to not pick Hoolohan or the other players in the squad who can actually play Football!!!
Sorry for the negativity but i have lost all faith in Trapatonni!!!
Big mistake not getting rid of him last month i'm afraid !!!

Wonder how Brian Mc Dermott felt this morning!!
Just watched his team score 5 goals against Arsenal and still end up being beaten!!
Absolutely mental match

I missed it because I was at the football myself.
Wish I'd taped it.
I still rate McDermott though, he's done really well at Reading and he's been very influential in taking some young Irish players to England and developing them.

Epic game http://www.101greatgoals.com/gvideos/reading-5-arsenal-7-longer-highlights/ for anyone that missed it!
Delighted for Wes! Trapp finally realising you can't judge a team by 5 mins on match of the day?
We might as well get behind the team as Trapp is there till the WC qualifiers are over (at the very least)

O Dea is guaranteed to start. McShane and Keogh will come on as subs ahead of Clark and McClean.

Fair play to Wes, certainly deserves his chance, however, at the age of 30 he's unlikely to represent the 'future'. And it's the future that's most concerning, two of our biggest hopes are Coleman and McClean. From what I've seen of Everton's games Seamus continues to struggle at right back (and if a now fit again Tony 'average' Hibbert forces him out of the team that'll be a bad sign) and James looks slap bang in the middle of 'second season syndrome' and has been virtually anonymous in the Premier League so far .

I think Clark is injured at the moment so will probably drop out of the squad. We really need to be testing Alex Pearce in friendlies. But hopefully Duffy might get a chance to shine.
Think you are right about Coleman and McClean. I heard Sunderland are employing his mate from Derry in some role just so he doesnt get too homesick.

Seamus Coleman tearing it up for Everton today apparently (well, according to Paul Merson anyway!), that's more like it son!
