No the plan is to wait for him to perform well over the season and then bigger clubs financially or higher league clubs will state an interest in him. Nunez will then refuse to sign an extension with Leeds and find another club. Then Ken Bates can rub his hands together because he has got another player off the wage bill and no wage increase was needed.

Nunez has just stated he hopes his pre-season form will get him into the team and beyond that he hopes it gets him a long term deal at the club.
