"If this happens, and I still think its a big if".

It's all 'if's and buts' at the moment given the absence of any public statement.

All we can guess at is that Yeung the Older is working day and night at present preparing his case prior to the hearing in August and he himself has probably given little thought to the football situation apart from how best to protect his assets from seizure.

We know that he has installed Yeung the younger onto the board, possibly as a precurser to his son being handed the shares.

We know that some of our best players have been sold and that others may get deals with other clubs.

We also know that we've got a committed and very able manager in Chris Hougton and where necessary he is trying to get replacements in.

Apart from that, its all conjecture, I think

Fingers crossed. Often Partisan, somehow, is usually pretty good with this news. Also that its reported from HK daily news is a plus. They're not bad, unlike the rubbish we have to put up with over here.

"the listed company will inject capital, "Birmingham World," It is reported that hope to improve the team wave, make a success of this season playing in the British crown,"

I do love auto-translate!

It only says investment, that could be simply to stop us going bust.

Pollyanna has enough wealth to loan the club money to give us a chance of Promotion.

To me it seems Pollyanna has spent more than she wants by having to hold shares in our club, she is not willing to put another penny in, because if she did, well she would have by now and why did Yeung loan off his assets to keep us afloat last season.

If they are serious about getting Promoted we must not loan out Foster, may aswell keep his £1.5M wages because i think he can at this level keep at least 5 more clean sheets than Doyle could.

If we get a £4M+ addons offer then i can understand, but if they are serious about Promotion how can we replace Foster.

I beleave that Yeung/Club knows it cant afford to get us back up, and we have little chance of promotion and thats why we are going to sell everyone of any worth.

Oh and i wont rule out Davies going if some one comes up with £1.5M+

Some of Yeungs employees at his newspapers were about to lose their jobs.An investor came in and saved their jobs. These investors are also looking to invest in BIH and BCFC.Go on to the Blues web site, click on fans and then message board.Somebody has copied a reuters peice.

I think it would be just investment to keep the club afloat thats all, as Yeung has his cash tied up due to his arrest.

I think we had to sell Johnson and Gardner cheap to provide some cash flow, and i think these investors will do just that.

I still dont have high hopes of them being able to allow us to keep some players and sign players who have a fee.

If we dont move fast players will be going, seems that Blackpool and Ipswitch are looking at Billy Sharp.

Thats Leicester, Forest, Blackpool, Cardiff and Ipswitch all looking to show more ambition than Blues

Banjo,it isn't Yeung. They're new investors. One of their aims is to get Blues back to the prem.

I know the rumour is about new investment but i dont think they would be bringing in much and i dont think it will save us from having to sell of the likes of Ridgewell and Foster.

Ideally i would sell Jerome for £6M with £3M downpayment. Then Dann for £12M with £9M downpayment.

If we can offload Zigic then fair enough if not well he could come usefull.

Then we can build for Promotion but i still dont think we have that cash!

I cant see what Ranger would offer us apart from a Jerome with less workrate, worse attitude and less goals.

As time goes on you miss the boat, if we get no investment over the next 2 weeks i think a lot of potential frees/loans would be already tied up/snaped up.

And we would be left with either the players no one wants, or having to buy from clubs which means more cash we just ant got.

Maybe it would have to resort to resigning Bent and Parnaby

Actually i would offer Parnaby a 1 year deal

Banjo, I am as pessimistic as the next Bluenose but not so pessimistic as to think that someone actually wants to invest his cash just to keep someone elses business afloat and not to achieve ultimate success and ergo, return on their investment.

I have no idea what is going on in terms of whats going on behind the scenes, but one thing is for sure.... no investor is going to do Yeung any favours just to keep his ship afloat whilst he is locked up.

People put money in for 2 reasons only
1.) To earn a profit (9 times out of 10 its this one)
2.) To be associated with a winning team - a status symbol if you like

If this report is true, there may be hope yet.... but it is a big IF!

Seems the investment is with the Paper that Yeung owns and not that any investment will come to Blues
