I think everyone agrees we need a new striker to play through the middle - the position Suarez currently occupies. Say we actually managed to get someone like Huntelaar who is a central striker and nothing else, where does Suarez play?
Does he play on the wing? If so does he provide enough defensive cover for the full back? Plus wouldn't he be far more effective in the centre of the pitch where he has more directions run in. Also, he has a tendency to over do things in our own half when we really need him to hold onto the ball for a bit rather than always looking to attack his defender. That will happen a lot more if he is playing in the wide role.
The other position he could play is the attacking midfielder role. In my view this would suit his game much more and we would see the best of him. Plus he can link up with the striker more and if we do sign Huntelaar, then we know their partnership is good from their time together at ajax. Obviously we would have to have two defensive midfielders behind him to make that work as Suarez will not be too concerned with his defensive duties. But that can work. 2 of Allen, Gerrard, Sahin and Lucas when fit.
Where do think Suarez should play in this 4-3-3 formation if its not in the central striker role?
Where will Suarez play??

I think we need to have Suarez in the Centre. Like, BRod said, he's a box player. Would rather a good inside forward to play on the right would be better.

So someone like Sturridge? I think we need a finisher. If only we had a Van Persie to finish off all our chances, we'd be flying up the league.

If Liverpool fail to qualify for any European competition this season, do you think you will still be able to hold onto Suarez?

Suarez in the hole, finisher up front, Sterling on the left, Assaidi Right, Gerrard/Sahin and Allen in the middle.

He should play the wide forward role, probably on the right as Sterling is doing a good job on the left.

Play Suarez from the right but with the freedom to come infield and without much defensive responsibility.
When he goes inside, Johnson can overlap.
Whoever plays centre midfield will have to cover right side for defending.

Yes when we have ball attacking I think that would be ideal.
It would have weaknesses without the ball, but so does every other formation ever.
There is no formation that doesn't have areas to exploit.

where ajax played him. On the right.
Sterling left
Finisher in the middle
it's really not complicated
