To reclaim his spot in the starting line-up.
After impressive displays, in his absence, and how this new-look Chelsea side have finally adopted the pressing game, which is a vital ingredient, when playing possession football, (Barca), would it come as a surprise, if Lampard is finally frozen out?
As the days go by, it becomes clearer, that this could be Lampard's final season, as a Chelsea player.
Lampard may find it difficult...

Questionable? Why? 148 consecutive outfield games, his absolute determination to make the most of his talent, his response to defeat in Moscow. All that and his record of converting crucial pens - that illustrates it for me.

I don't think you can question his professionalism, gives it all on the pitch and trains harder than any other player.
I suspect he manipulated his media contacts to help heap pressure on AVB, but i don't count that in the criteria for assessing him as a professional player.

I still don't buy into that!
It didn't really need any inside info to be able to tell that things weren't going well under AVB.
AVB himself was guilty of revealing too much to the press about his relationship with the players when he told the world he didn't care if the players bought into his project, great way to win them over!

The other thing about Lampard is that personally i don't think he is that naturally talented. Like Keegan did, I believe he worked his nuts off and made himself into a great player and that deserves immense respect in my book.

All I hope is he doesn't hang about when it's clear he is not first choice (Scholes Giggs)
LA will be his destination - unless Jose has him for a season
