Can Arsenal fans finally stop saying RVP moved for money and accept he wanted to win things with a club with great history.

But in terms of the goals and quality you have lost you haven't replaced him adequately, which is what we were talking about.
We lost quality there is absolute no doubt about that. There is no guarantee though that when you have to bring a new player in to guarantee you 30 goals. Its difficult to find a player in that range without paying over the odds.

Ah now you come to our main problem that we face season in and season out for some years now, Batmanu and you are absolute right here. We are not depending alone on one player but we were cursed over the years with too many injuries for our top performaners.
However we hadnt adaquate replacement for these players and couldnt handle it. We talked both a lot of having a decent depths in the squad. There is our main problem.

Agreed, that is the difficulty, and the situation the club are in is responsible for that. However, it doesn't change the reality of what me and Batmanu are saying.
We didn't replace Tevez and Ronaldo with anywhere near the quality that we lost, for whatever reason that may be, it is still a fact. Even though we have remained competitive.

Does it matter Dave?

Darren, agree with you. You have done better than we did but you lost a bit of your spark and I ddont want to remind you of your desasterous last season.
As I said before. We are carrying too much dross with us and couldnt cope with the injuries we had. You did that better though. No problem to deny that.

Not to me.
But we were discussing how Arsenal fans will feel even more angry because he has not been replaced, not just because he went to United.

Sorry, I thought you were being a bit thick when by saying Dave instead of Darren and then realised who you were talking to.
Yeah I'd agree with that. Obviously having a lack of quality in the squad doesn't help, which has been your problem for a while, but a good first team can really help you in your current position.
Chelsea are a testament to that. There isn't that much quality beyond their first 11 or 12 players, and they have a thin squad, but are doing well in the league. I think this could affect them at the end of the season though.

The reason Manchester united did well, even when they lost Ronaldo and Tevez is simply because they kept their best defenders and even solidified more in that area, whereas Arsenal kept selling theirs - Cashley, Toure, Clichy etc

Why do Mancs refer to RVP saying nothing but good things about Arsenal, all the time?
If Rooney joined City, and kept banging on about how great Man U are, would you wanna hear it?
I cant take stuff like that serious.

They still cannot accept ashley cole left for a better team evrn after the evidence has been displayed infront of them. He has won numerous trophies at our ckub but he is still cashley cole.
