Statton Island Ferry and all non-essential Boat Trips have been cancelled and will remain so until The Mayor gives the OK for a resumption of non-essential services. Must have ben a bad dream!

Well you're wrong there Silky, don't know where you've got that from. I've been in New York 2 months now and obviously the 'devastation' caused by Sandy has been exaggerated in the English media.
