Sitting there watching the game today, it struck me that our players really don't suit our formation. To be fair, I thought Giroud was our best player along with Mannone and Mertesacker today. He worked hard, tried to hold the ball up and very nearly scored a couple despite the dire service he was receiving. He did however seem isolated, and I feel that we would be much more effective in a 4-4-2 with Walcott or Podolski. As for Ramsey, he doesn't fit in on the right wing whatsoever, and Wenger shouldn't have picked him.
Overall, Wenger is still an excellent manager who is doing absolutely everything he can to get this club back to the top. The board however seem worryingly focused on the financial side of the game, and this is a deep concern regarding the future of the club.
My only gripe is why we didn't sign a Defensive midfielder in the window with THE MONEY WE DO HAVE. Arteta isn't physical or quick enough for me and I feel that in a game like today we desperately needed a Capoue or M'Vila.

Wenger is blind! Every bloody season he thinks we are better than utd, goes in with the same plan that plays into Fergie's hand. As if the Reading game wasn't enough proof we need to switch to 442.

Name another manager who could keep a team in the top four whilst having to make a profit from transfers. There are only two I can think of: Ferguson and at a push, Mourinho.
