This may sound crazy, especially coming from me, but I think Arshavin should start our next game, ahead of the invisible Podolski.
Look, I saw enough from him today in his little cameo appearance today that he's ready to start again.
He was tidy on the ball when he came on, constantly looking to make things happen, unlike other players, and he created at least one decent goal scoring opportunity.
When he came on, even though the game was already over, we looked much better as a team, moved with more freedom.
I'm sure this sounds completely crazy but I honestly feel it's time with Podolski becoming more and more of a passenger and that cutting edge still lacking.
Also to finish I'd like to congratulate Mannone, he did himself proud today.
Arshavin

Spot on Dog.
Podolski really is the 'invisible' man and has been like that throughout his career.
It's absolutely baffling how Arshavin doesn't get more game time when you consider how crap our forward line this.

I am usually against arshavin but you can't do any worse than podolski and ramsey.

Also I'm noticing that Arshavin is putting in the effort in games now, he looks hungry.

I thought Podolski might flop before he arrived. I am worried it might be the case.

We actually started playing football when Arshavin came on. I'm fully in the Arshavin camp now, I love being fickle.

The least he deserves is a chance, when he has been given chances in the league cup he has taken them, might aswell give him a go with the first team.

Podolski was poor again, he's gone off the boil, invisible. Stopped with the effort

The fact that Arshavin chased back and got booked for a hard tackle sums up the effort he is putting in compared to before - he also looks pretty fit now
