My thoughts on Miller are we didnt get him move on!
1) could anyone have forseen him scoring 21 goals pre january?
2) is it possible he may have lost something in Turkey? he is 1 year older obviously.
3) what length of contract do you give him? signing on fee? wages, bonuses etc?
4) does he have any resale value whatsoever come the end of this season? (beattie being an example)
Therefore I think 25k a week, £800k transfer fee for 1 hopeful season is a major punt worth avoiding!

fair points, particularly no.1 , i know miller scored a lot of goals last season but lets be honest that astounded eveyrone.

I'd much rather see the £800,000 go towards signing Goodwillie. We only sold Kenny for half that 6 months ago, and contract or no contract they shouldn't have been asking for double of what they paid for him half a year ago.

There was me thinking accountants were based in the east.

When we only sold him for half of that fee a few months ago I could never see us paying it... And rightly so IMO.

I hope it goes towards signing a young striker with a decent sell on value. Hopefully Goodwillie if all goes well.

Bursa bought out a 6 month contract.You honestly wouldn't have Miller back? Fair enough.

Bursa had an unhappy player on 40 grand a week. Fair play to them for taking as much as they can for him, if others are willing to pay it then so be it...

He turned down a new deal with us and ran off for a big pay day at Bursaspor.

Suddenly Rangers get bought over and he becomes homesick and wants to come back. No thanks it's clear what you desire and it's money.
