An excellent win today and good to come back after going a goal down. However I do have a major concern about the number of crosses that come into our box. If Craig Noone had been a bit more accurate with his crossing we may have been looking at another defeat. He must have put the ball into or box 6-8 times in the second half. Warnock was unable to stop hm getting his crosses in when he got the ball out wide and the new manager did not do anything about stopping him getting forward especially after we had gone into the lead.
Our defending against a couple of short corners in the last 10 minutes was no more than school boy standard, allowing Cardiff to go two against one with too much ease.
There is a reason we are leaking goals and until we stop the crosses coming into the box the blank sheets will simply not happen.

I thought we defended quite well last night. Bar the goal Cardiff did not threaten in the first half. The second was mostly us until we went to 10 and invited the usual last 10 mins scramble that all 2-1s tend to have for the winning team. Don't forget Cardiff are 16 places better off than us currently so I would expect they can get after teams. I thought that even knight did ok and Ricketts is a million times better than Mears. Possibly because he had Chungy who will come back whereas Warnock had Eagles then Petrov who neither fancy helping out at the back. That makes it difficult for him.

Agreed. It also didn't help Warnock that Noone is comfortable with either foot so you never know which way he is going down the line or if he is going to cut inside.

I thought that was why ream came on to help warnock.but noone certainly had the better of warnock not sure if alonso would have done any better though it seems to be a problem position at the moment, maybe warnock isnt the answer.
