we played the best foot ball in the league and were compared to Barcelona. We never won anything but at least we looked good.
The 'Bould' effect , sorry but that still cracks me up .

Other then the invincibles the only other time was when we had hleb, fab & Rosicky. We also had flamani and adebayour up front.

I almost fell for 'the Bould effect', but I realised eventually that the teams we were playing early doors were mostly toothless. When we conceded the goal vs. Man City, despite our defending being generally good in that game, you could see the same old problems, unconfident goalkeepers, and ridiculous zonal marking systems that left the 5'11 Podolski marking the 6'3 Lescott, with Lescott having a run on the German.
Unfortunately it has been made clear that Bould is probably another 'yes man', Tony Adams may not have many nice things to say about the club at the moment, but I think he's what we needs, someone external but who knows and loves the club and can challenge the pathetic status quo.

Spot on but Wenger would never hire someone who stands upto him.

You compared yourselves to Barcelona, nobody else was that deluded.

Even if Adams might see things as they are, he is not necessarily a good enough coach to correct the situation.
