If the reported incident concerning Joel Campbell is true (ie he and his associates simply did not turn up for the agreed meeting) then Arsenal should walk away. If they don't, it gives the green light to every greedy little rodent to act the same way. Putting up with crap simply invites other clowns to chuck the brown stuff.
Having initially given way, Arsenal did the right thing with Adebayor - shipped him out and luckily got a decent price. Look at his track record for loyalty and effort since!
If Arsenal end up signing Joel Campbell it will be perceived by the player and his advisers as a sign of weakness and he will be nothing but trouble.
There are such things as keeping your word, honesty, and doing your best, and if football clubs don't insist on some basic standards of integrity then they will get what they deserve which is players who don't care about either the club, it's supporters or football in general.
