David Norris

I think we needs a 30+ year old in our midfield. Last season our oldest regular in midfield was Killenny at 25. We lacked that bit of experience and I think David Norris would give us that.

Don't you think we need a quicker, more mobile player. The problem with Kilkenny is whilst we can pick a pass better than any other CM we have, his pace is very poor. He can't track back and sometimes gets left behind in games.

I think we have pace with gradel, Sam and howson too an extent. I think we need a leader in the middle who puts his foot in. From what I've seen of Norris I think he could offer us that. Admittedly I've not watched him week in week out though.

I'm glad you've been linked with Norris: takes the heat off us loosing Montgomery.

You'd do well to get Morris though, whenever I've seen him, I've though of him as a defensive midfielder with a bit of flair.

How good a player is Montgomery Captain?

He's an awful player: he couldn't track a bag of cement, his pass completion is shoddy and he's scored 3 goals in his seasons at the club.
However he's the hardest working player I've ever seen, he can time a tackle and is so tenacious and determined that despite his limitations he's one of the best players outside the premier league, his timing of tackles is sublime and he'll run round pressuring for 90 minutes.
Without him we'd be lost.

There is little doubt that Montgomery shall leave the blunts and as a known Leeds fan would make an excellent signing.

We live in hope.
