Does Ba still have that buyout clause?

A lot of sources have said that after Ba renewed his contract, the buyout clause (7.5M) has remained in place. If that's true, and if we can't get Falcao, should we go for this guy? At times, he's Drogba-esque; he's tireless, powerful, and scores goals. The downside is that he's got a bit of Torres syndrome in that he may have a bit of trouble playing alongside other strikers; given our 4-2-3-1 formation, this should not be a tremendous issue.
