The Arsene Wenger philosphy

Does that still exist?

Our ability to maintain possession is worse than England's at a major tournament. I know we've lost a hell of a lot of players in recent years, but **** me, do we struggle to retain the ball these days. Harrowing.

That philosophy has always been overrated, I can't remember the last time we outplayed a quality European opposition.

Snails paced players with poor technical ability is sinking this team. The is no pass and move at all but plenty of square passes.

Very true. I think the last truly decent away day display we gave in Europe was the 2-0 away win in Milan in 2008. It's been pretty dismal since then and there was a lot of dross before then too.

Typical Arsene Wenger drilled side, to be honest. Europe and the tactical posturing that comes with it has never really been for him.

Every time I look up to the game the other team has the ball, what's going on?

They'll get the ball after every free kick/goal kick we have. Urgh,

it wouldn't be that bad if they were square passes,. the ball nearly always goes backwards as soon as we get near the opposition box. Our passing is so slow and movement off the ball is non-existent.

This is anti football. Absolute rubbish. We fluked a result against Reading but otherwise we have been so poor lately.
