Lots of articles in the press this week about Balckburn, player revolts and no transfer budget as the banks have told the owners to reduce their overdraft. The Machiavelli in me has put togther the following plot. The owners sell all their best players, Jones, Samba, Robinson etc and this should cover the cost of what they paid for the club (don't know how much debt they took on); they bring in Bosmans on much lower wages and get the wage bill to match the revenues from gate recepts and other commercial activities. They do this for 3/4ears ( which will involve getting relegated at least once) but they will walk away with all the Sky money of approximately £30 -40m.
Probably needs someone like Bricks with his accountants mind to do some detailed analysis but after watching the programme earlier this week ( starring the intellectual heavyweight Brian Robson) about Thai businessmen buying league clubs anything is possible !!

Got a mate whos a Blackburn fan, told me the other week that the Venkys came into football not thinking they had to pay wages (you read it right) to footballers.
Also apparently theres a secret that only a few people know and when it comes out, it will destroy the Venkys. Alluded to by a few of the ousted board
The last paragraph sounds a bit Hollywood I know but I trust this mate with this info and he is a proper fan.
