Thanks god we've got 2 away games coming up but unfortunately a 10,000 mile round trip in the process! Can't understand our home form its like we have a psychological breakdown, I mean its not like we have a ferocious 15-20,000 crowd on the players back and we constantly get outplayed. We are in the top 6 bigger teams in the league we need to be more nasty at home and take it to the opposition. Can't comment on today as I wasn't there but from games I've seen (at home) we've been let down.

If it was who is telling the truth? Saunedrs or The Board.....My answer is safe as it will never never never be the board, 10 yrs of crap stories. As Yankee says and I totally agree. If JR wanted out and sell up he would have been gone long ago. Blame the fans and lets stay on the ego trip.

I didn't see the push on Syers but Saunders was right about the overall performance. Quinn hasn't impressed at RB but looked good as a CB - far more secure than Martis. Cotterrill needs to get sharp and we certainly laboured in the middle, but compared to the performance against Crewe it was tons better. Having said that Bournemouth were nothing special. I have no idea why Paynter played with Brown instead of the manager using Brown and Hume together and putting on Michael Woods or even Martin Woods to play on the wing. Just once in 90 mins Brown headed a ball down that Paynter got to. They are far too similar. It should have been a goal-less draw and would have been but for the soft goal.

albirossi ,david james made 1 bread n butter save in 90 mins from hume. For most of the match we couldnt get the ball from them.We were the HOME team it was poor, tuesday was abysmal cant remember the Crewe keeper having anything to do.Over 180+ mins at home we were rubbish at best.Keep playing like that at home and it wont be long before the gates are down to 3,000.

Then at least Lanzo, home ganes will be like away games. Those there will be there because they want to be, and will gey behind the team. Listening as I have to, to player, you can hear the people in front of the commentators. Every time a player misplaces a pass or what ever, there is a call for get him off, rubbish, or other such niceties. The Rovers crowd in general is far too critical and does not back the team or the manager.

I will go so far as to say that the same people who now do not go to Rovers games are the ones responsible for SoD's downfall. We always want too much.

By the way Alex and Fuzzy, I am not changing my view, but I do think that SoD had enough of the fans as well as enough of certain members of what was then a board.

To be fair there was very little individual barracking were we were sat, which was probably because Martin Woods wasn't on the field,as he seems to bear the brunt of every catastrophy, including the demise or the Gb pound and the uneployment rate. Most were just sat there because from the 1st minute the result never seemed in doubt,we were all waiting for the inevitable.Newyankee fans will not pay good money to watch that,Me and the rest of Lanza family may do,but I am sad to say I am pleased I didn't lay out £1000 for 3 season tickets

The thought processes of sports fans are quite unique. After a few wins the team are giants and the manager is a strategic genius. Lose a few and the team are all buffoons led by a mental pygmy. Two factors rarely get a look in - luck and how good, or otherwise, were the opposition.

Against Crewe not only were Rovers poor but Crewe played very well. Rovers were also lucky insofar as we didn't lose by a bigger margin and we had a hat full of chances against the run of play. Against Bournemouth we played better, while they were only marginally more effective. We were however sadly lacking in luck, for example when their soft cross shot was palmed against the post and bounced in instead of out.

Up to the last couple of games we have been defensively sound, had one or two flashes of skill and had a lot of good luck. We wobbled defensively against Crewe when we lost Jones, but yesterday he wasn't as badly missed as I feared. The luck will return as will the goals when the team gels.

Courage gentlemen!

NY,
I won't go in to detail about Sean's departure but I will assure you it had nothing to do with supporters and the section demanding he should go.

His side of the story of his exit will be told in time of that I am sure.

I think Sean will have a smile on his face, he has the players, the money and a big club now. It turned out well for him but if he doesn't make the top six the Forest supporters will be shouting for his head he is a realist and he accepts that is how football works.
