What an excellent manager he is turning out to be, and I can't say I'm surprised after the amount of good managers he has worked with previously.
Looking at the West Brom team it has a very strong spine throughout the team, and that usually gets you battling for a lower mid-table position. However, the man is getting so much out of those players that they are exceeding the expectations of not only their own fans, but football fans in general. Clarke must be applauded for this.
It's ashame that you'll lose Lukaku when he returns to Chelsea and Odemwingie is also moving on a bit. You've got Shane Long though and he is an excellent player, not that Mr Trapattoni appreciates it for us.
Do you think that the West Brom board have the ambition to push forward a bit and perhaps back Clarke with some more money in either January or the summer?
I mean a couple of £5million+ signings to really strenghten the position you are in, as when you are doing well you always have to build on that.

Be nice if the BBC could notice and stop just writing about ManYure.
Agreed with OP that a few good additions to the squad could make the baggies a regular top ten team for the next few seasons.

went to the game today, Olsson was immesne at the back, Jones had a great game and Long put in a brilliant shift.
We had 29% possesion in the first half but took our chances and then worked well as a defensive unit to see the game out.
Special mentions for also: Mulumbu, Yacob and Myhill today.

I think Shane Long is a brilliant player to have. Without him, our attacking options would be severely reduced.
