Logistically both of these options would be a financial disaster IMO..it is a 4-1/2 hr. flight from the west coast to the east and with no t.v rights to fall back onto re; financial help, it would cost the club a fortune because either every game would be played away, or they would have to compensate the visiting club for the extra cost for travel.
That 15-20,000 crowd they speak of attending the Perth games is only because they currently only get 2 games per year and those that enjoy the game attend.....playing every 2nd week would only generate 8-10,000 I would imagine.
As for joining the Super-League.....well that is just dream talk.....even an established financial NRL club like South's or Dragons would struggle with the cost involved....
Can't see either idea getting off the board room floor to be honest....
