TEAM NEWS
Manchester City could be boosted by the return of David Silva after a month out with a hamstring injury.
Joleon Lescott and Maicon are pushing for recalls but Micah Richards, James Milner and Jack Rodwell are all out.
Tottenham remain without the injured quartet of Mousa Dembele, Scott Parker, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Younes Kaboul, but Sandro (calf) may return.
Emmanuel Adebayor is pushing for a rare start, while Brad Friedel is again expected to start in goal.

FACTS
There were 11 goals scored in the two meetings last season, City triumphing 5-1 at White Hart Lane before winning 3-2 at home. Tottenham had fought back from 2-0 down in the latter game before Mario Balotelli's injury-time penalty gave City the spoils.
City have fired in the most shots on target this season (65) and allowed their opponents the fewest (28).
Tottenham are looking to seal top-flight victories at both Manchester clubs for the first time in the same season since 1959-60. They have already won 3-2 at Old Trafford this term.
A win for Tottenham would be their 300th of the Premier League era.
If selected, William Gallas will be making his 300th Premier League start.

one day the truth will be out. The stoke away goal not given for stoke for no reason. I was so happy then some reason they disallowed it when it just seemed a straight forward goal. 1st half of that game no pen given for stoke stonewall. 1 point gained. sunderland game rudiculous soft pen given to man city.
while man utd you guessed it concede from a corner that was so obvious was our goalkick that everyone was going forward and wigan take quick corner and score. we have 2 stonewall pen claims turned down. 3 points should have had or even without pens at least 1 but no the ref singlehandedly makes wigan win 1-0. newcastle home pen given for newcastle for nothing costs us 2 points. That was probably the best attacking and defending performance of the season. It was a virtuoso performance and yet the ref gives newcastle a point and we drop two.
Already this season the ref gives tottenham 3 pointsat OT. I personally think he wanted us to lose. 2-0 down and nani taken down or strangled and no pen given. Its similar to the pen not given away to wigan last year. defies belief. No wonder why teams think they can get away with anything against us. Tottenham have cheated us for years for years ever since that mendes goal that was not given. even in the carling cup final.
