Good luck to Rangers today

Good luck to the Bears today and I hope we get off to a flyer under the leadership of Ally.

I was in a debate last night and after 74 comments the aticle was closed,so I wish to address some issues today.
A certain Dos went into a rant and I will summarize his points as I think fellow Rangers fans will be interested and keen to express their opinions.
I had asked why people support Rangers, family, area you were born, traditions of the club, love of the players, jersey and Ibrox.Part of the reason for supporting the Gers is also connected to the migration and ties between Scotland and Ulster.Just as celtic have Irish Catholic roots,Rangers have a Protestant tradition and background at the club. This is not to say religion or politics is to be a requirement for supporting Rangers.
Dos however told me to stick my views where the sun don't shine and referred to rabid nutters,in relation to Rangers fans who may hold religous or British or loyalist views.Dos used this sweeping rabid nutters term to label people and I pointed out that to do so is as wrong as calling Celts rabid nutters for their background, but Dos went further.
Although not mentioned in my article,Dos ranted about not wishing to celebrate Britain's colonailism, but I did not suggest we do so.He called the monarchy,German parasites, but I made no comment about the Queen.
Dos arrogantly referred to the Ulster/Irish/British Troubles and religous problem as a fairy story, and I would ask him to clarify these statements.
In summary,Dos hates the Brits, the Queen,Protestants and Loyalists.
I do not say one has to be a Protestant,Royalist, loyalist or British to follow Rangers.I welcome all support for Rangers, but to hold such views as Dos must make it a tad weird sitting at Ibrox.Stick I hate Proddies, the Queen, the Brits and Loyalists on a T-shirt Dos,and see how Rangers fans feel about what you said last night.
Finally,I want Rangers support to be open to everyone, the more the better,so please do not distort my views Dos or Celtic fans out there.
Before labelling me a rabid nutter or bigot Dos at least listen to what I have to say.You had a dig at what you perceived were my Christian and Protestant beliefs and called Jesus a Jewish cosmic zombie.Just wondering, but what other religous groups do you insult. For a so called liberal Dos,you do hold bigotted, narrow minded views about people.
Perhaps you are simply a guilt ridden,self-hater.Enjoy your day among all those rabid nutters you detest so much at the Rangers game today.

Good luck Gers, let's make it a good flag day.

As for all the above, let it go, the football is back, let's make it about that. I for one can't wait to take my seat this afternoon and I wish you all the best for your day ahead doing what you love, watching the Champions.

we are.........

We have Irish roots who just happen to be catholic,it is not a pre-requesite.
I'm Scots catholic-where do I fit in?
My own interpretation of Dos is that he,like most is pig sick of clowns associating themselves with GLASGOW clubs. We are not mini Ulster or Eire and visitors to the streets of our city should respect that.

I'm a fully ordained Dudeist Priest! This aggression will not stand, man!

Calm down dear! the only part of your article that has anything to do with your team is the tiny good luck you wished them!

Doesn't really matter if you support Rangers because your fathers fathers father supported them or if you just like wearing blue fitba tops!

If it's religion you want to debate though, just remember the immortal words of Jimmy Rabbitt Snr...

"ELVIS IS GOD!!!!"

I hear what you are saying folks and can assure you I am not a religous fanatic.
As I said, the article I was writing about closed after Dos distorted my post and I wanted to reply and debate with him.
If someone slags you off it is only polite to be allowed to reply.Other replies were removed, again, just not polite.

Funny how some of you guys,Mordor, are passing the blame for bother over to Ulster and Eire,as there a plenty of rabid nutters born and bred in Glasgow.A bunch of Glaswegian celts attacked my mates and I outside a pub

Having a mare guys, just hit send by accident there.

I thought Rangers were poor today and never thought I would say this, but we miised the injured Lafferty badly up front as Naisy,Jelavic and Ortisz were not clinical enough.
First game I know, but we need new faces, either from the younger squad players or bought in.Miller for 800,000,would have been worth it for such a striker.Think goals and forget he wanted away.
Whittaker is not a real defender,so get that sorted fast Ally.
Anyway,I hope Hibs batter Celtic tomorrow and do feel free to ignore my posts on a particular matter I am discussing in future. That way,you do not have to climb up on your high horses or go searching for your offended or angry hats.Don't read it,just do one.
