Why are Huddersfield Town doing so much better than the rest of the Yorkshire teams in the Championship so far this season.....?
I mean who gets the praise, and who gets the blame.....?
Nobody can doubt that Grayson has done a decent job in organising Town's tactics and their transfers, but what has Dave Jones, Keith Hill & Neil Warnock done so wrong to leave them in the bottom half of the Championship with only 7 games to go until the season's half way stage....
I personally think (being a Town fan) that we are finally getting what we deserved, having had nothing but bad luck over the last 15/20 years...Maybe it's the owners that make the difference...
Whats happened to the other Yorkshire teams

I've seen town play in all but 3 games this season. And my assessment is that when we have won games, it was because all 11 players played out their skin and gave 110% for 90 minutes.....
The games we have lost were due to a few players not turning up, which puts too much pressure on them that do......
So if we want to get something out of this league, I believe we have all the tools we need, from the managent and thoughout the squad...We just need to make each tool is kept in perfect working order, and putting 11 players out each week who are capable of giving 110%, and you just never know.......you just never know.....Could we actually do the un-thinkable, and finish above all the teams we have beaten so far, which will definately put us in the play-offs......

Are the big city Leeds loving Yorky post boys including Hoyleys expenditure on doing up the canalside as well as wages ??????????? A few bob has gone on the redevelopment down at our training facilities, No idea how much, But a fair few bob,,,, Leeds wont spend anything on their training ground as i would imagine it wont cost too much for the council to cut the grass and pick the litter up

To the muppet who reckons Town's wage bill is a) three times bigger than our Elland Road neighbours and b) £21.5m:
It is quite easy to research Town's wage bill. Hoyle operates the club through a single UK registered company. It is called The Huddersfield Town Association Football Club Limited and its registered number is 01771361.
Every year around February it lodges its accounts at Companies House to comply with company law. You can buy a copy for a pound. To save you even that expense I can quote from the 2010-11 accounts which are the most recent ones lodged.
'The total football expenditure including all football player costs and other football related costs increased to £7.29m.'
There were new signings after Old Trafford but other contracts lapsed so while the costs probably went up from the 2010-11 figure (which you will note includes manager / coach costs as well as players) it will be nothing like the figures you guessed.
We will find out for sure in February. Something tells me it won't be quite so easy to find out the wages budget under Bates!

I THOUGHT WE WERE AROUND THE 6-8 MILLION MARK..
21.5 million is a figure we might get to in the premier league..
having only seen two wage slips belonging to premier league players its very difficult to work out due to the bonus schemes , insurance payments etc etc..
you also dont have much idea about the executive pay structure at the club and all the sundries that could be called "wages"..
i think we would be in very deep do do if we were paying anymore than we currently do...
