Well done Wilf! He will probably only play for 5 minutes but stops him from playing for Ivory Coast and therefore no African Cup of Nations.

I watched the U21 game and he wasn't given any freedom. There was more focus on Thomas Ince

Yes, like I said "Overawed and out of his depth, but in fairness he was playing to Stuart Pierce's inept instructions(boring)."

Playing to instructions, and not using his own innovative skills, it made him look very ordinary.

Even if he plays the full 90 minutes, as it's a friendly he can still play for the Ivory Coast, lets hope Roy Hodgson gives him more freedom to express himself, and he gets to like the experience enough to want more.

OH and I still think it sad someone has a need to dtrike up a thread about a non-event.

Dtrike? You what?

Anyways, what do you mean a non-event? Granted this is a friendly with Sweden, but hopefully this is just the being with Zaha and opens the door to the next young player to represent their country like Joniesta for Wales.

Are you always this moody or is this ‘time of the month’?

And I did watch Wilf in both Serbia games, and started both if I remember as well as he made a usual nuisance of himself – kinda like your sadder replies on here.

What ever.
What games did you watch, as you have a different spin on the games than both " MonThePalace" and I have, he had such an impact on the games he got only one mention in the write ups, where as Raheem Sterling was in the thick of it as Tom Ince.

But like I said(which you chose to ignore) he was "Playing to instructions, and not using his own innovative skills, it made him look very ordinary".

I don't look at Zaha through rose tinted glasses, I see him from a coaches prospective, and I see a player who is far from the finished article, who needs to involve his team mates more, and under the right guidance has the potential to be a world beater, and possibly become better than Lionel Messi, but he needs to learn from his mistakes.

I sincerely hope this experience he has with the England setup kicks him on to another level, as he will learn from Roy Hodgson the importance of his team mates, and he also has the opportunity to carve a knish for himself in the England setup for the foreseeable future, and I wish him well.

I also think he is far better off in the hands of Roy Hodgson and Gary Neville, than with Stuart Pierce.

Well, of course Zaha is far from the finished article, he’s only turned 20 years old! And if you’ve taken time out from your autobiography ‘101 ways to put a negative spin on life’ and seen Our second goal at Peterborough, whereas Wilf grabbed the ball from halfway, did the business and instead of taken the glory, passed it to KG to slot it home, then you would see mistakes are improving!
And of course I have a different spin on Zaha, as everyone has they’re own opinions, it’s what makes a social site. But that ‘whatever’ sigh doesn’t hold you credible, as more like a teenage b.tch - to be fair.

It doesn’t matter what the write-ups say! Do you believe everything you read? :/
From another prospective, there may have been more focus on Tom Ince! But, who’s got the call up to the first team? And Ince didn’t look that great in the U21’s game this evening. Missed a decent chance just outside the box.

Wilf, may perhaps ‘Play To Instructions’ in tonight’s game from either the Gaffer or Skipper, but who cares? Today could be his First Cap representing CPFC. Who woulda thought this after all the adversity down the years? Freedom or not, Zaha ‘Plays To Instructions’ whether it’s Club or Country, overall this is what got him the call up in the first place.

On a sidenote....Possibly become better than Lionel Messi? Who’s wearing them famous rose tinted glasses now?

You are one sour bitter little individual, also you need to get out more.

Oh did I sing the praises of Tom Ince, and by the way you obviously miss the easy chance Zaha had by the far post(open goal & unmarked) and fired across goal and wide, from a cross from Danny Rose.

If your intellect doesn't get in your way, try reading my posts and digesting what I say, unlike you I don't wear rose tinted glasses where Zaha is concerned, I see him and other players objectively, their good points and their bad points, and I say it as I see it.

Oh by the way I just received an e-mail from The LFE which is a youth football education program setup by The FL & The PFA its about Zaha's indiscretions, very interesting reading.

Hmm, pot & kettle comes to mind on that one.

Nevertheless, there must be 2 sgbilko’s as what I’m seeing in the above thread ‘Zaha hype and his huge ego’ has a different view in this thread.
Nevermind, will you enlighten what the email reads?

This all started by your over reaction to a quite innocuous little remark I made in the thread ***NEWS BULLETIN*** that being "The OP's an attention seeker".

As you seem so temperamental about someone making a joke, it has developed into a full scale verbal war, which if it wasn't funny would be pathetic. Bitter and sour I'm not, objective I am, I say things as I see them, offend or please.

Would you care to elaborate on your 2 sgbilko’s comment, also you talk about 2 sgbilko’s, what about the 2 paulholden84's, have you read through some of your posts Jekyll & Hyde springs to mind, one paragraph your consilatory, next all venom, the following post your having a dig at a Liverpool supporter who was very complimentary about Zaha and did not agree with "Aggers Right Elbow" and told him so.

I see Zaha the same as I look at any player, I'm critical about their weakness's, of which Zaha has many, and complimentary about his strong points of which he has many more, that is what being a coach is all about.
