Honestly I think it might be just that, a rumor. It is difficult to see how he would fit into a team like united when Welbeck is already in danger of limited game time. RvP, Rooney and Chicharito all offer different skills in attack and with the three of them they offer complete attacking options. Lewandowski is talented but a replica of RvP hence you will have to sell one of the above three to accomodate him. the 4th striker will always struggle for games unless other wise the manager decides to alternate strikers from game to game, and also using them as subs almost every other game.

Youth Numbers?

man city will buy him for £40m to get there next step into there project of champions league. Having said that he missed so many sitters against man city and gomez did the same against chelsea. Are they actually that good as strikers as I rather have hernandez over them.

He will end up at City, Balotelli will go back to Italy and Dzeko will go to Arsenal, Chelsea maybe even Spurs

Not going to happen, however if we never got RVP, I would be ecstatic to see Lewandowski on this team. Brilliant player.
