Liverpool's use of Michael Owen as a youngster when he bought Rooney at the age of 18 and played him in 40+ games per season ever since? Hypocrite

Loved how he cites the treatment of Curtis and wallwork as examples of nurturing his players.....both turned out to be top professionals didn't they?
So we developed a player to become a ballon d'or winner and whiskey nose finds room to criticise. He seemed at a perfectly good footballing level when he ditched Liverpool to join Real Madrid.
I think mr Owens greed needs to be attributed to his fade more than anything else.

Remember this is the same Sir blotchy face that let Ryan Shawcross go for £2 million to Stoke, and due to his alzheimers at one stage was willing to pay £20 million to bring him back.
According to United fans, Norwich away is a really easy game and Liverpool scoring 5 was nothing, guess what, they haven't scored 1 yet.
