"I'm saying the same thing every week. There's no team in this division better than us. They might have a bit more composure in front of goal but that's it.
"I'm an honest man and if we were getting hammered every week I would be the first to hold my hands up.
"I keep checking under my car in the mornings to check I haven't run over a nun or a black cat."

Mr Jones,
Without prejudice;
Stop hiding behind excuses and get managing. That is what you are paid to do Mr Jones. Perhaps picking forwards who can score or implementing team tactics that get us in a position to score should be your first port of call; not checking under your car for nuns or cats. The worst kind of excuse - get real Dave Jones and do the job you are paid to do.
To say that teams have a bit more composure in front of goal and then make a throw away comment about it smacks of a detachment from reality. Oh, so that is all it is then is it? Hardly.
I'm sorry but Forest are not that good but they beat us - so do the mathematics Mr Jones and look to yourself as a leader and not a pedlar of excuses and hubris.
Take the rose tinted spectacles off & get with the programme please ASAP.
Start managing or go.
Sincerely,
Shibboleth30
Dave Jones

Don't worry shib. We're playing well, but we're just been really unlucky. Everyone knows that luck is taken into account when relegation is decided at the end of the season. Apparently points don't matter this year.
Everyone looking forward to a good hammering next sat?

Its time now that DJ stopping making the same excuses now and changed tactics, playing nice tippy tappy isnt working for us, there's zero cutting edge so we have to start playing and winning ugly if it means us winning a few and climbing the table, the players, esp the strikers need some confidence.
If DJ does survive MM's red button then he surely (not Shirley ) has to bring in a striker this week who will be fired up and desperate for regualr game time, I hope it will be Cameron Jerome. Also I think another defeat will see curtains for DJ if he dosnt go this week, its a results based business and MM dosnt want us going down so surely MM will be sat at his desk sharpening is already blood stained axe as we speak!!

Also its amazing that he said and did everything right a nd spot on last season, then this season he has said and done all the wrong things

Has anyone else noticed that things have gone very wrong since Terry Burton left it makes you wonder which one was the brains behind things

Good point We definately not the same without his coaching expertise, plus its not helped DJ either as the advise Burton gave him more than helped us last season, boy do we miss him! I can only hope that either DJ sorts himself out or our next manager brings with him a better coach or assistant than our current one!!
