3-4-3 a go-er against West Ham?

There were obviously particular circumstances to the second half yesterday, but I think it showed that a back three could work for us in certain situations, particularly against a team like West Ham, who we play next.

It would allow us to get a bit more height in the side to deal with their threat from set-pieces and with the likes of Caulker and Vertonghen so comfortable stepping forward out of defence with the ball I don't feel we'd lose much in an offensive sense. Something like this, for instance:

-------------------------Lloris-------------------------

-------- Caulker----Dawson----Vertonghen---

Walker------Sandro------Dembele--------Bale

Lennon-------------Defoe------------ Dempsey/Falque

Anyone else think this could be a go-er?

Dembele won't be fit

Like the idea though, that back 3 is nicely balanced. Falque or Sigs have to play though - Dempsey has looked really poor and he had a shocker there against QPR.

I like it, that formation would more than cope with the aerial threat and give us the width we can utilise so well at times.
Having Lloris in the sticks would be a barn storming use too.

Much better idea the 10 man option we went for yesterday!

The left forward would worry me, definitely not Dempsey, so Falque getting a starting berth and the full 90 would be interesting
-Whats happening with Townsend? would he not suit that position? or maybe push Bale forward and slot Townsend in for him?
I would also worry about Lennon and Walker tripping over each other and getting in each others way.
With no Dembele and no Parker it would have to be Tommy Hudd, or Jake

It would make for great open attacking football though, I would love to see it in action
