on sky sports tony pulis says allardyce always gets the results and i can't disagree with that. after some research i found he is a great manager and i am very surprised why fans laugh at him
fact 1 allardyce never failed
fact 2 allardyce always improves the team
Limerick
guided the League of Ireland team to promotion by topping the First Division with a number of points to spare in 1991–92 in his only season at the club.
Preston North End
Allardyce given the role of caretaker manager. His short spell in charge was an impressive one with Preston putting in some fine performances.
Blackpool
leading the club to their most successful season in years; however, he was sacked Allardyce still has the highest win percentage (44.57%) of any Blackpool manager.
Notts County
won promotion at the first attempt by finishing top of Division Three Notts County broke several club and national records, winning the title by a 19-point margin
Bolton Wanderers
took bolton from championship to premier league, qualify for uefa cup & finish top half for three seasons consecutive. semi finals fa cup and carling cup
with newcastle he didn't receive any time
with blackburn he saved relegation and gave stability in mid table positions
with west ham promotion and 7th position
his record as manager is magnificent so the equivalent of that achievement is winning the world cup as manager of england or winning the trophies with a big club and i think he deserves recognition for that. when chelsea pays 30m for avb but you can have allardyce who will guarantee success.
sam allardyce: world class manager

really his history is fantastic. every time he gains promotion or moves to club higher. and after he left bolton and... relegated. then he left newcastle, relegated. then he left blackburn, relegated.

why do people defend his Newcastle reign? he brought in a whole bunch of crap like Geremi, Smith, Rozenahl and Cacapa on daft level wages and then blamed the players and the fans when everything went wrong!
as i recall he left them sitting off the relegation zone having played most of the "easy" teams at home-his was the only side to fail to beat Derby County , his last game they were held at home by Championship Stoke
what said it all for me about his time on Tyneside was his reaction after a 4-1 home defeat to Portsmouth-Allardyce laid into the players!
far as i'm concerned he's had his shot at managing a big club and failed miserably. good manager for small, unambitious hooofball teams like West Ham

he had a bad marriage at newcastle because his style didnt fit with the style of the fans. his style prevents him the chance to manage a big club but from results only his record is world class.he has his method which works every time with great success.
