I'd be interested to hear about Daehli. Heard he is supposed to be good?

januzaj has shown some good touches so far, looks to be a classy player

They are an excellent side at that level anyway.

A lot of quality in that team and Paul McGuinness will have a difficult job picking a team out of the likes of Barmby, Januzaj, Pereira and Daehli who for me is the more often than not the star of the show, not to mention Ben Pearson who's a tidy but tenacious little midfielder who likes to get stuck in but can pass the ball very well. They are as good a group as Morrison and co but the big test will be the FA Youth Cup.

They're doing well in the league this season. Sitting in 2nd behind Southampton and will hopefully qualify for the elite stage.

james wilson seems to be banging them in for fun, only 16 aswell

We play Burnley in the FA Youth Cup at Old Trafford on Friday 7th December at 7pm for anyone keen on going and taking a look at them.

I'm not one who likes to compare players but Wilson is similar to RVP in a way.

Both have excellent control, are always looking to link up with others and assist in goals and both score goals for fun.

Wilson scored his first goal for the U-18s as a 15 year old and that's some going. Hopefully it won't be too long before he's doing the something similar at U-21 level.

Not a lot happened so far in the first half. Been an even game with a couple of good chances for both sides from which both keepers made good saves. Januzaj been our best player so far.

Bebe hasn't been bad either. Put in a couple of decent crosses and his shooting has been better than it was at Newcastle, because it wasn't great which is putting it nicely. We need to get a bit more support up to Henriquez though as he's a little isolated at times.

Disappointing 2nd half.

Expected more from us despite the absentees. Didn't test the keeper enough or at all really. The one positive was Januzaj's performance. He hasn't looked out of his depth at this level but hasn't performed like that before I don't think. Signs of getting more used to that level maybe.

Think it showed that him and Daehli had played together before. Linked up well together at times.

Frustrating night for Henriquez. Had absolutely no service or support for a lot of the game. Just wasn't his night. Credit to Villa though. A 1-0 lead was probably deserved even though the penalty was quite a soft one.
