5 INTs and we still lose!

Cardinals

Offense

Love Nnamdi and DeMeco Ryans, but the Eagles are clearly underperforming and whoever runs their defence should get fired. Everyone knows that Nnamdi is lethal when its man to man coverage! Hope they beat the Cowgirls though.

Back to the Cardinals offense, I find it crazy how we're that bad going up the field. We've got Fitz as our main man with Andre Roberts also being a good WR and other decent options. The RB's aren't bad, Beanie's good when he can get a good run of games and Stephens-Howling is showing he's got big play ability.

It's obvious that the QB is the main issue but surely with those decent offensive weapons you could still get some sort of offense going, I blame the play calling.

Also at the moment it seems like QB's only regress under Whis. What a mess.

The Eagles, now they're just a massive let down. I remember when they were the self proclaimed "dream team" last year. So much talent on that roster but they just can't perform. Is Reid the problem? You know something isn't right when you lose to the Cardinals in your last 2 games, one being an absolute blowout.

"What do you Patriots fans think of losing Gronk for the next 4-6 weeks? What do you Patriots fans think of losing Gronk for the next 4-6 weeks? Personally, I think it gives my team (Texans) a really good chance of going up to Boston and taking a giant step towards home field advantage barring any weird results and injuries. I will still maintain that the Patriots will continue to roll because they're still pretty deep in WR/TE"

Not a Pats fan but as I said earlier in this thread I do enjoy watching them.

Gronk is a massive loss, he's been a monster for 18 months now, coverable but uncoverable and was on course to get close to his record destroying year of last proving it was no fluke. They have Hernandez coming back on Thursday according to NFL.com so that will go some way to helping bridge the gap along with the other TE's they have on the books.

I think the Pats would find it hard with a fully fit roster against the Texans who are the best overall team in the NFL at this time.
The Texans have the D to stop the Pats occasionally (no one will shut them down IMO) and the offensive weapons to keep up on the scoreboard.
The Pats have struggled covering the TE and Daniels has been top drawer this season for the Texans and the second tight end (can't remember his name) hasn't been too bad, I've seen him picking up a few TDs in recent games. Arguably they've been even worse deep so could be a good game for Andre Johnson, especially as average recievers have had field days. They have stopped the run generally other than v the Bills 1,2 punch of Jackson and Spiller but they aren't Arian Foster.

Texans in a narrow win. When is that game? Could weather be a factor?

Anyone going to watch all 3 thanksgiving games?
Rather annoying I'm working Friday so will struggle to stay awake much beyond half time of the second game.

Main issue? Possible understatement of the year..... I've not watched enough Cards to cast aspertions on the play calling. I have seen whichever of the 3 QBs who have started miss wide open recievers, make poor decision and generally look bad.

"Also at the moment it seems like QB's only regress under Whis. What a mess."

I think that's harsh, 2 of them weren't very good in the first place. Not inclined to run down the rookie too early he got chucked in and never should have been.
I'd be inclined to level blame at Wisenhunt if he played a part in the trade for Kolb, poor decision.

Bad news for you as a Cards fans is there aren't even any really exceptional QBs in this years draft in comparison to last.

Are we going to miss the Gronk? Here is a telling wee stat from ESPN for you..

'Brady is completing 67 percent of his throws to Gronkowski in the end zone the last two seasons and just 29 percent to all other Patriots.'

But it is more than that, he is also the best run blocker we have. He has been used as a run blocker on just under 45% of our snaps this season and grades as best run blocking tight end in the league and the Pats have run the ball well behind him.

I am concerned that Hernandez is being rushed back to cover although there was talk he was almost ready for last week. While he may cover the loss in red zone receiving it is now up to Fells, Hoomanawanui, and Shiancoe with regards the blocking.

So it is a massive blow but looking at the run in we should still pick up enough wins to make the play-offs (not expecting much against the Texans now Scholesy).

I am not sure we will get the second seeding though as Ravens continue to grind out results.

Anyway note the BB, when 30+ points ahead, no need to use your top TE for blocking duty on an extra point.

That is some stat. Gronk is uncoverable.

Maybe they'll be some more red zone rushing.

I think Hernandez was good to go last week, speculation was Welker wouldn't be active and Hernandez would be, probably saving him for tomorrow night.

Poor Cardinals. They really need to sort out that QB issue.
