I don't know the answer to that. All I know is my mate goes on a bus with usually about 20 others. Mostly guys bringing kids. He was the one who told me about it, he was quite shocked tbh. He was even more shocked when he was greeted by a copper knowing his name. If the guy had any previous id admit it, but he don't hes a decent man bringing his kids to a game of football!

The I suspect the issue is with someone on the bus.

Your mate travels on the bus so the police have to assume he knows him hence knowing his name and seat it the ground.

Not everyone who is a potential threat wears a badge.
Im sure some even have kids they take to games.
