Apparently, you tried to show him the door in the summer, but he missed it.

I think it has to be Athletico Madrid with Falcao to Chelsea as part of the deal.
We have some leeway here with Athletico wanting to extend Courtois´s loan and of course the fact that Athletico need to sell.
The only stumbling block is could Athletico afford Torres´s wages and if not would Torres be willing to take a wage reduction ?
Hopefully so because nobody is going to pay Torres the 170k per week he earns at Chelsea.

Also the only place I can realistically see Torres recapturing his form of old would be at his home club.

Torres would take a paycut, he's not the sort of guy that would just stay and sit on the bench and collect his money, how much is Falcao on a week at Atletico?

This is really a two-part question:
(1) Which team WANTS Torres;
AND
(2) What transfer fee is Chelsea willing to
accept.
They sure as hell aren't going to get anything close to 50 million!

Athletico will want atleast 40mil plus torres

At almost 29 years old with his pace gone, I doubt Torres will take a pay cut. After this contract he'll be in the same position as Joe Cole, whereby he's wages are too expensive for most teams.
The way I see it athletico will demand 40mil + torres and you'll have to pay a portion of his wages, maybe 70k.

I'm sure Spurs will have him- they have average players in abundance already
