He didn't deserve it, but I was pretty confident of it happening at the start of the season, saw it from a mile off. An average manager IMO, it's a shame they did t keep him for longer.

Yeh it's a tough one because you can't really argue its had a negative affect on their success. Based on the money they've spent, you could however say they were in a great position to really dominate english football for a long time, but they've never pushed on to do it.

Either way, I don't understand why anyone would take that job ever for reasons other than the pay-off money. If Ancelotti gets sacked a year after winning the double, and Dimatteo gets sacked 6 months after winning the CL then you really aren't ever safe in your job.
