I'm not sure we can claim RDM's sacking as it wasn't the Albion fixture he was sacked after but, yes, that was his last league game.

It's just a good job Sunderland won at Fulham on Sunday, or else losing to the Baggies at the Stadium of Light this coming Saturday would put Martin O'Neill right up a gum tree.
