Do you not think there will come a point that top managers will steer clear of your club? Its a poison chalice. Win everything and in style or your gone.
Apart from the huge pay and the inevitable huge redundancy package there is no real reason to sign for you. I don't think it hurts managers careers getting sacked by Chelsea because everyone does and your next manager will also.
Roman should save himself the money and pick the team himself.

I could have done that mate, but is everyone still responding to all 27000 articles and the people that are responding are probably already in a conversation with someone else, so I thought I would post a new article to ask Chelsea fans, and no one else, if they are a little concerned. Not a wum.
Guess i won't get an answer, thats fine though. Good luck to ya.

Mojie Sorry mate. Usually me and TGI Fry are cracking jokes left right and centre about our sacking of managers. We didnt think it be like this though
We're a poisoned chalice all right. You perform poorly, you get sacked, you win trophies you get sacked, you win trophies playing boring football, you get sacked, you try and change to attractive football but dont get the results straightaway, you get sacked You cant win with Roman

But you make it sound like we´re the only club that sack managers regularly.
Just look at Serie A, managers come and go every season. It´s the norm there.
Also look at Real Madrid. Ok they´ve found a little bit of stability under Jose but they were hiring and firing managers left right and centre in the years before Mourinho came along and they will probably continue to do that after Jose leaves.
Not just that but look at the Premiership. Spurs get through about the same number of managers that Chelsea do as do clubs like Newcastle.
To single Chelsea out as a club that hires and fires managers is a bit unfair as we´re certainly not alone in that department.

Mr C, don't you think that hiring Benitez will make it difficult for Roman to sack Pep?

Well since 2004 we (Spurs) are on our 4th manager. You will now be on your 8th. Averaging a manager a season. Bit ridiculous, baring in mind Jose lasted 3 seasons. So effectively your looking at 7 managers in 5 years.

Frankly if I was a half decent manager I would steer
clear of Chelsea unless you are going for money.
Abromavich is fast running out of decent options Who
is left for job?
Frankly I do not see Guardiola going to Chelsea. He
has a record of being rather strong on loyalty something clearly Abromavich is not.
I suspect that he is more likely to go to Arsenal or Man Utd if the job becomes available. He is likely to be less affected by external interference at these two clubs.

Can't compare to Spurs, maybe Real. Real is another job i would imagine most managers would be wary off but I don't think getting sacked there hurts your career.
Spurs had
Santini who Quit
Jol for 3 years
Ramos who was sacked for being bottom of the league in October
Redknapp who had 2 and a half years before a strange sacking.
Spurs still give 2 years before wielding an axe.
I can't see why Pep would sign for you. It will only tarnish his career unless he gets barca like results in 6 months.
You have to understand that what he did at Barca was not just when he was the Manager, before that he was the Barca B coach and youth coach. He had been lying the ground work for his revolution 3 years before he was in charge. Give him 5 years and he will have you top of the world. Will Roman have the patience for that?

Well since 2004 we (Spurs) are on our 4th manager.

Another way of looking at it is that Spurs are on their 7th permanent manager in the last 10 years which is exactly the same as Chelsea.
Also let´s not pretend that AVB isn´t on the brink which would make it 8 managers in 10 years at Spurs.
