Looks like Mourinho will also be available this summer. Roman might as well stick his neck out for once and get both Pep and Mourinho and we can have a nice manager assistant combo.
Another bonus is that when Roman feels like sacking the manager we already have a great replacement lined up.
The perfect solution

It is difficult to fire someone in a classy way.
If we didn't do it so often then we wouldn't seem so ridiculous.

You'd think that with the amount of practice we get we'd have it off pat by now

Because our sackings come out the blue, it all seems as if its rushed. I dont know how it is with other clubs but dont the club and manager sacked release some sort of joint statement. Thanking each other etc. It just seems as if its done in a more amicable way with other clubs. The way we do it, sometimes seems ruthless

In 2003, the senior players at Liverpool were asked, over the preceding season, who they thought was the best managed team they had played against and who the best manager would be. To a man they replied, Rafa. The rest is history. No, he's not everyone's cup of tea, no Mr. Popularity is not his middle name. But he knows the game. Backwards. The way RDM has been disposed of is disgraceful. Shame on the Idiot. CFC will lose less games. CFC will progress under Rafa. JimmyTheRed

This is hard to get over because Robbie is such a nice guy.
If we can get past our club's stupidity in the way it handles sacking this could be looked on as a positive experience for both parties.
RDM greatly increased his profile with us and has already won Europe's greatest cup competition, if it wasn't actually such a stab in the back, as it feels to us fans, and was amicable or at least neutral then this brief period as our manager will have done good for him as well as us.
