Picking on normal fans as well... Not like minded hooligans who have arranged a punch up. Outrageous, this happens way too often!

Don't they put a couple of coppers outside bars full of rival football fans in Italy then? Or maybe the police just went for a convenient toilet break. It's a disgrace and I hope the injured are ok.

Italy is shocking I went to see us play rome a few years back in the CL, and honest to god feared for my life after the game at some points.
I decided I'd never go watch footy in Italy again

Roma and Lazio fans are pretty notorious. I've got a mate who is from Naples, and a Napoli fan as you'd expect. He says the culture for football violence is intense and modelled on the notorious British firms from the 70's and 80's. But it's gone beyond the honest fisticuffs (not that I'm for that kind of behaviour) and morphed into something plain evil, mobs of criminals terrorising innoncent people. It's cowardly!

getting stabbed in the ass is meant to be a "frienly" stab as its the only place that you could shank someone and not cause serious injury. faking nuts I know
------------
the stab in the buttocks is to stop the person running away, and to make it the most painful, uncomfortable injury possible as everytime you sit it reopens and therefore takes months to heal properly,....
nothing to do with friendly i would suggest.
