Rangers2012© were a shambles with Davie Murray.
They had crippling debt.
The Bank were in control.
He sold to Craig Whyte.
Which part of these facts means everyone else bar Rangers2012© is to blame?
Reality check

Of course.
It's his fault.

Can't go with this Duke. Banks can call in loans at any time and Scottish football has been steadily going downhill for years. Banks don't care what happens when they get their money back. They are still repossessing houses and closing businesses at record levels ffs. A football club is no different.

I agree
The consequence of those actions created the situation.
They may have been correct in chasing their money but the fact is in doing so they created the issue.

Ginger try and spin this any way you like , you were well off the mark again and you defend this fact by stating that you were not alone and somehow that makes it right, Rangers were Vindicated in this witch hunt and it wont be the end of the matter no matter what kind of slant you try to put on the result

HMRC believed they were after a guilty party; so they did what they are charged to do. The were as it turns out mostly wrong. Do you believe they should have just dropped any investigation bearing in mind that they weren't exactly assisted by MIM or Rangers to get straightforward answers?

they investigated us and found us guilty.
THEY WERE WRONG
We had to appeal and clear our name.
All I want is HMRC to not get stuff wrong.
They should have known their own rules but the didnt.
They chased an innocent party for money they had no right to chase.
In doing so they caused one hell of a lot of grief for thousands of people.

Just one point though if I may. If Murray and his expert advisers were so confident they would win; why didn't he agree to take on the liability if HMRC had found against Rangers?

Who knows
Perhaps he wasnt 100% sure
Perhaps the bank would not allow it.
What ever the case SDM was correct and HMRC were wrong.
Were it not for the player and the fans this frgn error would have cost many hard working people their jobs.
As it is many creditors are out of pocket due to the incompetance of HMRC
