It would seem Arsenal will be charging £62 for City fans to attend the league game at the Emirates in the new year (Sunday 13th 4pm ko).
Supporters clubs are discussing a mass boycott and asking the club to take no tickets but screen the game at City square and open the bars there instead.
Something has to be done about these prices,if supporters stick together on this it will force the hand of clubs who are basically ripping people off and making the game more a corporate jolly than a game accessible for the common man.
Thoughts?

Only just before but the idea that Old Trafford has been paked out for every game since 1949 is just a myth you sell to the plastics.

there that may help, highest avergage attendance in the league every season except 3 since 1972 and one of those was when the stretford end was closed for rebuilding.

That site shows that on average there were several thousand empty seats at most games.

Doesn't explain anything, it's like comparing the average number of passenders carried in a Bentley Continental to the number of passengers carried on an Indian train.

Welcome to the Emirates stadium. My ticket for the Spurs match cost me £86.
It's awful and I hate it but what can you do? stop supporting your team? the money grabbing 's at Arsenal board level seem to think that no matter how high you charge, you will always get bums on seats. Eventually they will reach a saturation point, I can probably afford about 7-8 games a season now realistically and although I'm on the waiting list, could never afford a season ticket at the prices they are on offer.
Problem with protesting by not going to games is, I know if I don't go then someone else will take that seat, most likely some corporate hospitality job.

I've just finished filling in a survey for City ticket prices, the most I'd pay for any home game is £45 unless it was something incredibly special like a title decider.

Looks like the club are looking into putting some early round home cup games included in the season card, not surprised really with the difficulty in selling them.Doesmt affect me but can see it being a bridge too far for some if the £550 ticket turns into £700
Hopefully an interest free stage payment scheme will become reality as that's needed for many.
See we've sold out the 3000 allocation for Dortmund.Thats what happens when the prices are sensible, over £50 and there would be plenty left
