Very very poor player. He was alright when Villa had Martin O'Neill and Young, Downing, John Carew alongside him. Since all of them players, he's regressed.

I give up on commenting about good players from teams below us in the premier league. Most of us said at the time that Pienaar, Sigurdson and Dempsey were great signings. Look how they've turned out.

Pienaar had his chance in the lesser competitions and when Bale was injured. What's Dempsey's excuse then?

Shame about Pienaar but it's way too early to write Sigs off, we just need to figure out how to get the best of him.. he looked quality in preseason. Playing him ahead of Dempsey would be a start - he just doesn't look like a Spurs player.
