Surely they all went onto the pitch with clear instructions as what each players duty was in any given circumstance.

SAF didn't get rid of Beckham because he took the p1s5 when a team mate made a pig's ear out of a free kick in a meaningless friendly, as far as I remember.

Vera - yeah I remember that vividly. Curcic scored two and absolutely played them off the park. I remember the PA announcer announcing that some Bradford lad was the sponsors man of the match and everyone in the Wanderers shed having a right laugh. It was embarrassing.
