He has been ok for West Ham.

Works hard, so will be a fan favourite for a limited time on that, and the fact that the team are doing well. It's easy for fans to like new players when the team are winning.

Needs to score a lot more goals than he has in the last two years though to justify him being their biggest ever signing.
