A Massive Positive

First clean sheet in all competitions since Nordsjaelland away on the 2nd of October.

First clean sheet in the league since Stoke at home on the 22nd of September.

Very telling.

It will only be a good result if we get the win at Fulham

can't line up nearly so negatively against Fulham though

clean sheet came at a price, an utterly non existent attacking performance-1 shot on target at home

We need to somehow get a balance, we've now no real muscle in midfield.

That may need to be addressed with the fwd issue, in january.

after the recent performances, where we have seen shot after shot rain down on our goal, it is certainly nice to see things looking a bit more organised. a solid defence is the base to build on. we can get more expansive once the new manager has more confidence that we can keep the opposition out.

tiny glimpses from torres, like the left footed shot just over the bar, mean that maybe, just maybe, he might still be able to contribute something to this season.

I'm seriously beginning to miss Ballacks tackling.
