Fed up with Ramsey hate!!

What is it people expect from Ramsey. Is he has good as Wiltshire? No. Is he a very good young player with allot of potential. Yes. Give him some support and let him grow and he is going to be a very good player. I see more in him than in the likes of Cleverly. He has great vision and, ok his through balls aren't coming off as much as we would like he will get there if given the time and support he should get as a young player coming through the ranks. The level of hate on here for him really p1sses me off. Its so unnecessary for a player that always gives 100% and is still 21 ffs!

I know he has not been setting the world alight but crap? No way. He has been ok. But if you watch his runs, his vision, his work ethic there is allot of potential there. Again he is 21. I think because of players like Rooney and young Jack people think everyone needs to be the finish article when they are still a teenager. Look at Theo. Got stick for years in just the same way and now he is irreplaceable!

The frustration is because it was obvious it was going to take a while for him to come back properly from injury but we sold Song and so Ramsey had to step up or we weren't going to win anything. He hasn't stepped it up and we're not going to win anything. Too much risk taking is going on.

I like Ramsey, but his deficiencies are painfully obvious at times. Firstly he all to often dawdles on the ball - we play our best stuff when we move the ball quickly, even just the most obvious simple pass help our fluency, but Ramsey too often keeps the ball for too long and either gets caught in possession, or breaks up our flow.

Also you have to question his decision making - similar to Gerrard he would much rather atttempt the 30 yard Hollywood pass rather than a more patient approach effective, and Ramsey is not the passer Gerrard is.

Also what position does he fit into the team - he's not fast enough to play on the wing and is forever coming inside and effects our balance. For me he's defensively suspect playing as one of the deeper two in the 4-2-3-1 and in perhaps his best position in the hole he has Cazorla, Rosicky and probably Arshavin who are all ahead of him there, and his shooting still needs work.

I still want him to make it, but it looks less and less likely.

i agree that hes young & needs time to grow. thats why i feel wenger should send him out on a season's loan to a midtable club next season.

we are a club in need of trophies. ramsey will continue to make mistakes while hes growing as a football & we dont have time for that.

I think there are some good points made above though I still think allot of it is still to do with age. As a second string centre midfielder I think he is not a bad option to have. I have no objection to people looking at and analysing his game but its the outright hate I cant not understand. How it can be said said he is the reason we are not going to win anything this season is beyond me. He was never meant to be Songs replacement. He will be great alongside Jack in the centre in 2 to 4 seasons time.

Ramsey has always been average and not good enough for our team

The Ramsey stuff is now becoming a joke. He has not been as bad as people have made out.

I hop Wilshere gets the same treatment when he starts having bad games

Ramsey is not too bad, he is better than me!

I just don't think he is good enough to start.
He is not slow but not pacey and quick enough as a wing. He can dribble the ball a bit but not a dribbling wizard or create anything special. He can make some passes but does not have the vision and accuracy to make him a CAM. He can shoot the ball a bit, but he is not clinical and not having a lethal scoring ability. He works very hard (which I admire a lot), but he is not strong and physical enough as a CM/DM.
So far, what reminds me most of him, is his turnovers.
At this point, he should be a sub only. He has potentials, but not good enough to start I think.
