What's going on?

First time in ages that I have posted on here. Just want to know am I the only person who is unconvinced by SOD and this squad?I have held back from expressing my views as we kept getting told it would take 10 games to gel. Well time's up and it's not happening. Doe's any one else here think that the manager is under pressure and what do we have to do to get things right? Your thoughts please fellow Reds.

SOD went bonkers tonight in the team huddle...Colin Fray, said his arms were flying and fingers pointing.....the players were Sh itting themselves!!

Good, as from all accounts they were awful, even the Ipswich fans questioning why we are where we are. I just hope this gives the players a bit of a kick up the @rss but for sure if we have a bit of a good run again, they need to be kept on their feet as every time so far we have started to get a bit arrogant we lose it!

In my opinion now is not the time to be judging SOD. He came in at a time when the club was in total disarray and a squad had to be put together as quickly as possible. Some really good players have been brought in; we are not playing square pegs in round holes, but we are still very unbalanced and lacking in some areas.

We need full backs, we need ball winners, we need width, we need pace. Our shortcomings are obvious to the fans, does anyone think that SOD can't see it as well.

Let's see what happens in January and the close season. At the moment our league position is a fair reflection of our capabilities. Do any of you regret SOD getting the job when MM turned us down?

"We need full backs, we need ball winners, we need width, we need pace"

Yeah, but apart from that, you're OK, right?

What you need is a decent manager and some of your own players. How can loan players be as committed as proper club players building for the future of the club rather than their own selfish aims?

Ramdini you're talking rot....JJ, Billy sharp etc are committed to the club it's some of our own players who let us down last night.....camp, lansbury, pep, cohen etc could not pass a ball or get a decent challenge in.

Chill out, some of you lot really need a reality check. Spending money does not always solve the problem though and January may not be such a good thing. You have s lot of players on high wages and bringing more players in and trying to keep everyone happy will be very difficult for your manager and may cause more problems than it solves!

Be careful what you wish for !!!!

Peps Right Boot.

I think you may be confused between skill and total committment. Nothing wrong with the skill of Sharp and JJ. Just their total endeavour. When they do try - it's for themselves - their reputation and their own self-aggrandisement. If they really belonged they'd be doing it for the club. As for the others, maybe they're just fed up of the glory hunters getting more money etc. Or maybe they're fed up for other reasons or just not good enough.

There is really not much difference between top and bottom of the Championship. There have been some really surprising results almost everywhere in this league. The difference is outweighed by total committment of one side or the other. Forest just did not have it last night.

Work in progress, I expect we will sign a few more players in January, and hopefully that will sort out some of the deficiencies in the current team, SOD is well aware of what needs doing.

Ramdini, you said it yourself, we didn't have it last night. We had it at the weekend and have been good at times but poor at others. There really isn't much difference and teams going on a run will get promotion.

I didn't really think much of Palace (another off night for us) but they're right up there and have confidence, we beat Cardiff who are a favourite then got stuffed by Ipswich who have been dreadful. I think far and away the best team I've seen this season is Leicester, strong defence, get forward quickly and have a good finisher up front. Other than that I wouldn't take a bet on any game in this league.
