Now I am over the boredom of tonights display I have decided to take two clean sheets as a positive result.
We could not continue shipping 20 goals every 10 games, even IF we where playing more attractive football.
The first job of any new manager would or should be to shore up our defensive frailties and build on a solid back line. From what I can see from the last two games Rafa has in fact worked some magic.
January is looming and with the addition of an on form striker, I believe our attack will sort itself.
Patience and faith is the conclusion of my Worldly foresight, not quite sure that CFC will take the same stance though.
On a side note, did any else notice the amount of times Torres was blanked in favour of an alternative team mate today?. That in itself is a major problem and although maybe deserved I thought he played quite well today?.

If we score a goal now I would be confident we can hold on to the lead which is something different from RDM. Problem is when will we!January can't come quick enough.

That's no excuse. Having 4 shots on target or whatever it was at home, against two teams who have struggled defensively all season is atrocious. I don't care about Torres, its not about him. It's about the awful team performance and rubbish tactics from the manager

the awful form under RDM wasn't even that bad in the league either. We should have won at least 2-3 of the matches and were creating loads. There's no sign of that team at all.
Paul Merson on Soccer Saturday said something along the lines of 'Benitez plays to not concede first and foremost and then win'. Well he's being proved right
