No wonder there's no mauling in the game now.
21 minutes england's maul was walking down the pitch and the ref blew up. Unbelievable.
Use it or lose it

You know the one i always compare with is the time we beat NZ away and we Neil Back and Dallaglio in the sin bin and won a scrum 6v8 on our own try line.

There's no such thing as a friendly in any form of rugby...it's way too physical for that

england suddenly look to have discovered the team which can be a worthy succesor to the team of a decade ago.
the first inkling came in the ireland game in last season's six nations, when england's back line played more expansively than it has done for years.
now, england has a truly world class 2nd row pairing again that can dominate for a decade, a world class centre in tuilagi, and proper quality international players in the back row and the back 3, as well as genuine set piece ability in the front row.
quality ! and a very exciting prospect of us being gived some highly competitive international sport to cheer us over the next decade or so of our journies

id go as far as saying england when croft and hartley are back that england have the best forward pack in the world

With the pack it's more about depth than anything...hooker and loosehead are ok. Tighthead we're in trouble if Cole gets injured.
Lock we have 3 really good ones so one more coming through would be good.
Backrows pretty good but we need a proper 7, even if its just for the occasions when we need a fetcher so I'd bring Armitage in for that.

the trouble with armitage is he plays in france, and they wont pick foreign based players
