"on it being a challenging period…
We are in this job to turn things around, and I am confident we will [because of] the quality of the players and the spirit we have in the team. It is a good moment to stick together."
what spirit?
on spending money in January…
It’s difficult to answer that straight away after a game like that. I cannot say no, but I believe the support from the board is there to spend the money if we find the players.
Mr. Wenger time enough to think about it.
on how the result affects upcoming games…
It affects the thinking for Olympiacos. There are many players who need a rest, because they are on the verge of getting injured. Some played with knocks today. We’ll see tomorrow. We hope that we get a good performance at Olympiacos. It’s important for us. Away from home, I’m not too concerned. We look like we play a little bit with the handbrake at home. It’s not fluent. There might be a psychological component in there as well.
why not rotating or make changing earlier? Why is Arshavin not even on the bench? Why do players play out of position?
on turning things around…
At the moment it looks like, away from home, we are quite consistent and our results are positive. But at home we have not produced the performances since the beginning of the season that you would expect from us, and that is where we have to find the solution.
Our away results are positive. Mmmh are we satisfied with a point at Villa and to lose at Norwich? How far have we come now He accepts mediocre.
Wenger <doh>

People like to find fault with things, gunnerthru.
A one star vote means this is a flawless article.

gunnerthru, will you bring true mental strength to the team?
Please say yes, because that is sadly lacking atm

Stepanos, at least I would have working on that side immediately. Don't think that Wenger really realised it yet.
There is no believe, no fighting, no spirit in this team. We need player who can score out of nothing or turn things around.

5 from me.

The only player that seems to have mental strength is Gervinho, Sadly, he's not very good.
Shezza has Mental Strength as well, but is erratic.
We need players that can score, full stop.

5 stars for this contribution. Unfortunately, I think we have to go through this until the end of the season, at least. The board probably not even reacts if we finish 10th....
